Creations by Nola specializes in on location. Not just a wedding photographer, I also photograph children, seniors, families, and pets. I believe in taking time, especially with young children and pets, and have lots of patience and understanding. I pride myself on being affordable and very flexible. My style, whether with children, pets, or weddings, is to help everyone relax and enjoy themselves as much as possible. The more relaxed and happy my subjects are, the better the pictures will be!
Nola has a great working relationship with Columbia, MO churches and their ministers and the surrounding areas. Creations by Nola is also highly recommended by several venues, including Alpine Parks and Gardens, the Tiger Hotel, Hampton Inn, Les Bourgeois, and many others!
Conveniently located halfway between Columbia and Boonville, other areas served include Jefferson City, Lake of the Ozarks, Moberly, Fulton, Marshall, Sedalia, and both sides of the state with St. Louis and Kansas City. I am originally from Chillicothe, MO and still photograph regularly in that area as well. I've photographed weddings in Colorado, Washington DC, Texas, Illinois, and Iowa too.
When looking for a photographer, look for one with experience! Creations by Nola Photography has over 23 years of photography experience, with over 1300 weddings! The wedding experience started in 1987 and I used 35mm for a couple of years before moving on to medium format. In 2003, the transition was made to digital with a Fuji S2 camera, then later Nikons. I thrive in finding creative, fun, and contemporary poses that are unique to each couple. Because this is the couple’s big day, I am going to listen to them and their desires for what kind of posing, interactions, etc they expect from myself and my other photographers.
